Our Year 1 students explored the wonderful world of plants through the hands-on project “Growing Seeds in Cotton.”

Students planted seeds in cotton-filled plastic cups and carefully observed them as they began to germinate and grow. They watched as tiny roots and shoots appeared, discovering how a small seed can develop into a growing plant.

This simple and engaging activity helped students understand the basics of plant growth and living things while developing their observation skills, curiosity, and sense of responsibility as they cared for their growing seeds.
