🧵 Investigating Materials: How Different Materials Keep Things Warm and Absorb Water

In this hands on science project, students explored how different materials behave when it comes to keeping things warm and absorbing water. Through fun and practical experiments, they discovered how everyday materials can act as insulators or absorbent surfaces.

Students wrapped beakers with different materials and compared how well each one retained heat by measuring temperature changes over time. They also tested how various materials reacted when drops of water were placed on them, observing which absorbed quickly, slowly, or not at all.

The final results showed clearly which materials kept the water warm the longest and which ones were the most absorbent, helping students understand how material properties affect their uses in real life.
