Students explored the fascinating world of plants through the project “Exploring Real Flowers: Plant Life Cycle and Flower Parts.” Using real flowers, they investigated the structure of a flower and discovered how each part contributes to the growth and reproduction of plants.

Through careful observation, students identified the petals, sepals, stamens, and pistil, and learned about the important functions of each part. They also explored the plant life cycle, understanding how flowers develop into seeds and how new plants grow from them.

This hands on investigation strengthened students’ understanding of plant biology while developing their observation skills, scientific inquiry, and ability to record scientific observations. By examining real specimens, students gained a deeper appreciation of the role flowers play in the life cycle of plants.
